In particular, Dr Weston will focus her attention on transition within secondary school, into GCSE or A Level years and how students can best prepare themselves for the challenges ahead.

After attending this talk you will understand:

•Why exams matter

•How to revise effectively

•How to stay motivated and manage distractions

•How to maximise your chances of excelling beyond school

•How to look after your mental health at secondary school

•Why parental support can really boost student attainment

Held at a venue in Watford, Herts, on Monday 5th Feb (7-8.30pm), this talk is ideal for students in years 10-12 and their parents, but open to anyone interested in how and why children thrive in the teen years and the role of parenting in that journey.
