Course Outline

Our History courses are skills based with emphasis on the types of questions encountered in the exams and how to structure essay answers. During the course our tutors will spend time helping each student on an individual basis. For this reason, the number of students accepted onto our history courses is strictly limited to six.

The course will help students to improve:

The course is designed to help students develop their skills in terms of their reading strategies, investigation of texts, appreciation of context and time periods, drawing out of similarities and differences, challenge of perceptions and interpretation of meaning. The number of students accepted onto our English Literature courses is strictly limited to six to allow the tutor to offer some individual support. We can鈥檛 cover every text for each student however, the skills learnt can be applied to the student鈥檚 other texts.
